Rosa Amelia González holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the Universidad Simón Bolívar. She is a full professor at IESA and a member of the Center for Sustainability and Responsible Leadership. She served as Academic Director from 2012 to 2018. In 2021, she assumed the role of General Coordinator of the Social Enterprise Knowledge Network (SEKN). She has published academic articles on business ethics, the information process that occurs during the production and discussion of teaching cases, and inclusive business in journals such as the Journal of Education for Business, Informing Science: the International Journal of an Emerging Transdiscipline, and Harvard Business Review Latin America, as well as chapters in books. Additionally, she has authored numerous teaching cases pertaining to contemporary challenges in corporate social responsibility, social enterprises, and inclusive business, which are included in the SEKN Case Collection. She teaches the MBA core course Business, State and Society, as well as several executive education courses on social responsibility, corporate sustainability and social entrepreneurship.
