Partners

Since its inception, SEKN has focused its model of generation and dissemination of knowledge in the creation of alliances with numerous organizations. In its first stage, the AVINA Foundation was SEKN’s main strategic partner. In addition, the network has been supported by several companies, including FEMSA, CEMEX, la CAIXA foundation and the BBVA Group. Currently, in 2017, SEKN has a significant number of partners, including the Observatorio SCALA managed by Faculty of Administration of the Universidad de Los Andes, the Inter-American Development Bank and the Multilateral Investment Fund (IDB MIF), the International Development Research Center (IDRC) and Citibank; System B and Cladea Balas Case Consortium (CBCC).

Avina ha sido socio estratégico y fundador de SEKN. Desde el principio, el vínculo entre la Red y Avina consistió en mucho más que un tradicional acuerdo entre donante y receptor de recursos. La relación ha evolucionado a partir del proceso de descubrimiento, aprendizaje mutuo y búsqueda constante de construcción de valor social y captura de sinergias posibles.

Academia B

Academia B is a System B initiative to motivate research and training about new economy and Business B in Latin America. System B, an organization present in 11 Latin American countries, works systematically in the construction of a regenerative and inclusive economy and in the acceleration of favorable ecosystems for Companies B.

Observatorio Scala

SCALA is an initiative sponsored by the IDRC, IDB/MIF and the Citi Foundation as strategic partners. Its main focus is to promote the economic empowerment of the low income sector through innovative inclusive distribution networks based on partnerships between private and social enterprises, NGOs, microfinance and people at the base of the pyramid.
