Juan Pablo Casadiego is a PhD candidate in sustainability management at Esade Business School in Spain. He did his PhD visiting period at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. He worked there with an NGO promoting social-ecological regeneration: Sinal do Vale. His doctoral research focuses on regenerative business models, the bioeconomy, and sustainable food systems. Juan has presented his work at the New Business Models Conference, EGOS, and IABS. Recently, he collaborated on a regenerative bioeconomy report presented at the G20 in Rio de Janeiro in 2024 and published in collaboration with the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration. Additionally, he is an environmental and animal activist and works for the NGO Plant-Based Treaty, which advocates for plant-based food systems.
