Francisco Layrisse obtained his law degree from the Andres Bello Catholic University in Venezuela. Later on he obtained his postgraduate studies in Administration, Marketing and in June 2021 his Doctorate in Administrative Sciences, all from EGADE Business School of the Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico. Since 2008, he has collaborated in research and development centers related to the topics of social responsibility, corporate sustainability and social entrepreneurship, resulting in several publications of articles in high-impact journals, book chapters and pedagogical teaching cases. He has taught diverse courses related to business and society at the undergraduate and graduate level. Additionally, he has worked developing executive education training on the same topics as well as providing consulting services for companies in the region. He is currently developing a post-doctorate with a focus on regeneration and social innovation at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg in Germany.
